Drill the Hole
Bore a conventional hole from 90 to 180 mm, matching your rod size. Minimum depth is 1.0 m for the compact models and 1.5 m for the DL-180.
Hydraulic Plunger Rock Splitting Machine · DL Series
A 2,000-3,500 t splitting capacity machine for granite, basalt, and concrete. About 15-30 seconds per split, up to six rods in parallel, zero explosives.
Rocks are strong in compression and weak in tension. We use that weakness.
The piston extends inside the borehole, expanding outward like an invisible wedge. Tensile stress does the rest, along the plane you choose.
From about 1,500 t on the DL-90 to 3,500 t on the DL-180. Granite, basalt, reinforced concrete, and hard limestone split on demand.
Each split takes 15-30 seconds, and one power unit runs up to six rods in parallel for output that multiplies.
No explosives, no vibration, no flyrock, no dust. Works in urban zones, sensitive sites, and gassy mines without blasting permits.

Drill, insert, split, and move to the next hole.
Bore a conventional hole from 90 to 180 mm, matching your rod size. Minimum depth is 1.0 m for the compact models and 1.5 m for the DL-180.
Place the piston rod into the hole and connect it to the power unit with the high-pressure and low-pressure hoses. One unit drives up to six rods.
Rated pressure of 100-120 MPa drives the piston outward, generating up to 3,500 t of lateral force. The rock cracks in 15-30 seconds. Release, pull, repeat.
Diesel for the field, electric for the grid. Two sizes of each.
All units operate from -20°C to 85°C hydraulic oil temperature, with an optimum of 30-80°C.
DL-90 for precision jobs, DL-180 for the hardest rock you can find.

Everything you need for a working split arrives together.
Four models: diesel DL-8P / DL-15P and electric DL-4KW / DL-7.5KW, up to 120 MPa peak pressure.
Five sizes from DL-90 to DL-180, machined from high-strength alloy steel and rated up to 3,500 t.
High- and low-pressure hoses connect the unit to the rods with quick couplings, safe at working pressure.
From deep foundation pits to the hardest granite.
Replace blasting in regulated areas. Extract coal, metal ores, and dimensional stone without explosives.
Safe rock breaking for highway tunnels, metro construction, and underground mining. No flyrock, minimal vibration.
Foundation excavation, basement work, and concrete breaking in residential areas. No noise complaints, no permits.
Efficient rock removal in deep pits where blasting is prohibited and breakers struggle.
Controlled rock removal for highway slopes, dams, and landslide prevention with precise split direction.
Where hydraulic breakers fail on hardness, the piston splitter excels. Handles granite, basalt, and more.
What buyers ask before switching to piston splitting.
Each split takes about 15-30 seconds, and one power unit runs up to six rods in parallel. For hard rock, the piston splitter consistently outproduces a breaker hammer.
Diesel DL-8P or DL-15P for field sites without grid power; electric DL-4KW or DL-7.5KW where power is available. Rated pressure runs 40-100 MPa depending on the unit, with peaks up to 120 MPa.
Borehole diameter matches the rod: 90-180 mm, with a minimum depth of 1.0 m (compact models) or 1.5 m (DL-180). Hole spacing is 500-2,000 mm depending on the rod, per your rock plan.
Yes. Splitting is static and non-explosive: no vibration, no flyrock, no dust, no gas. It runs in urban zones, sensitive sites, and gassy mines without blasting permits.
