Drill the Hole
Bore a small hole from 42 to 50 mm with a conventional drill. Depth runs 450 to 800 mm, matching the wedge set.
Hydraulic Wedge Splitter · Plug & Feather
A portable plug-and-feather splitter for concrete, reinforced concrete, dimensional stone, and confined-space demolition. Up to 820 t of splitting force, 10-60 seconds per crack, and the lowest entry cost in the lineup.
The plug-and-feather principle: a steel wedge driven between two feather shims inside a small hole.
The most affordable way into static rock breaking. Handheld or mini-carrier mounted, it starts paying back from the first hole.
From 460 t theoretical on the DL-250 to 820 t on the DL-450. Concrete, reinforced concrete, and dimensional stone split on command.
Handheld and mini-carrier operation for confined and indoor sites, narrow tunnels, and retrofit demolition where big machines cannot go.
No explosives, no vibration, no flyrock, no dust. Ideal for urban zones, indoor works, and sensitive sites without blasting permits.
Case footage of the wedge splitter cracking stone on site, in vertical 9:16 for mobile-first viewing. The same cut works on Douyin and other short-video channels.
CASE FOOTAGE · WEDGE SPLITTER
Drill, set the feathers, drive the wedge.
Bore a small hole from 42 to 50 mm with a conventional drill. Depth runs 450 to 800 mm, matching the wedge set.
Place the two feather shims into the hole with the steel wedge centered between them, aligned to the desired split direction.
The hydraulic power unit drives the wedge between the feathers, turning hydraulic pressure into hundreds of tonnes of lateral force. Rock cracks in 10-60 seconds.
Wedge set, piston, and hydraulic gun, built for simple field service.
Diesel for the field, electric for the grid.
DL-250 for precise indoor work, DL-450 for the heaviest concrete.

Confined spaces, precision cuts, and the jobs big machines cannot reach.
Foundations, beams, bridge decks, and walls, broken statically without flyrock or noise complaints.
Precise cuts that protect block integrity, for marble, granite, and other natural stone.
Basements, tunnels, plant rooms, and retrofit demolition where machines cannot fit.
No blast permits, minimal vibration, and quiet enough for residential neighborhoods.
Secondary breaking and trimming in tunnels and shafts without explosive hazards.
Controlled trimming of slopes, footings, and rock faces with precise split direction.
What buyers ask before picking the wedge splitter.
42-50 mm, drilled with a conventional drill. Depth is 450 mm for the DL-250, 650 mm for the DL-350, and 800 mm for the DL-450.
From 460 t theoretical on the DL-250 up to 820 t on the DL-450 (effective 410-750 t). Enough for concrete, reinforced concrete, and dimensional stone.
The wedge cracks the material in 10-60 seconds. Including drilling and repositioning, count roughly 1-3 minutes per hole.
Choose the 8 HP diesel unit for field sites, or the 4 kW electric unit where grid power exists. Both deliver 60 MPa rated and 100 MPa peak pressure.
Tell us your material, job size, and site conditions. We will recommend the right wedge set and power unit, with a response within 24 hours.
